| Expect To Die (1999) Cast:David Bradley,Jalal Merhi,Evan J.Lurie Awful Bradley vehicle that has him kidnapping Jalal Merhi's wife in order to force him to compete in a game called "Expect To Die".. Cheap sci-fi movie is so unwatchable that even Bradley looks embarassed, it's really surprising that Bradley could make a movie worse than American Ninja 3 but with this atrocity he has just done the impossible. Expect To Die is one of those movies in which the box is colored in one of the most gaudy colors, where guys in virtual reality are fighting complete with the hideous cover comes a red tape which is true to my theory that no colored video tape has ever been good (Johnny Mnemonic is actually the best to ever have a colored tape.) one truly wonders if the artist who came up with the obnoxious was stinking drunk at the time. In a way it's a good thing because the cover is easily the best thing about it. Expect To Die is truly horrendous, easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen. David Bradley has never had a screen presence but compared to Jalal Merhi he's Robert DeNiro, it's shocking to find a movie where Evan J. Lurie and David Bradley are the best actors in the cast but here it is, of course you wouldn't expect quality with crap like this.. The directing lumbers from one scene to another,The action is dull and lacks imagination.
