| Commando(1985) Cast: Arnold Schwarzenegger,Rae Dawn Chong,Dan Hedaya,Vernon Wells,Alyssa Milano Arnie is forced to put a boot in a dictator's ass when that said dictator snatches Arn's precious daughter and demands that he shoot the man he helped put in power of some unnamed country, understandably ticked off Arnie starts ripping out seats,Snapping necks, tossing people off cliffs, chopping off arms, swinging from giant balloons, pulling a phone booth out from it's foundation, getting hit by cars and then wiping out countless mercenaries employed by the evil dictator. Without a doubt the greatest good-bad actioner of our time. Few movies have come close to the sheer brilliance of this movie which defines the bodycount movie. Sure American Ninja, The Punisher, Death Wish 3 and Rambo:First Blood Part II come close but ladies and gentlemen, Commando is the champion. So comicbookish, noisy, stupid, ridiculous, over the top and just plain violent, Commando emerges as one of the most entertaining movies of our time. Never can one take any of it seriously due to hilarious one-liners and well-staged actionscenes which makes the running time fly by. Indeed the biggest reason Commando is such a masterpiece in the genre it created is that it moves at such a brisk pace, there's literly no time for things to become dull, plus the humor helps keep this not only enjoyable but hilarious too.
