| Collateral Damage (2002) Cast:Arnold Schwarzenegger,Elias Koteas,Francesca Neri If nothing else Collateral Damage is the movie Schwarzenegger needed to prove he still has the moves, the plot is standard revenge stuff but under the steady hand of director Andrew Davis, Arnold scores his best actionflick in the last 9 years. Schwarzenegger plays a firefighter who takes matters into his own hands when his family is blown up by a columbian terrorist. Collateral Damage is a much maligned movie that while no-Terminator 2 is still a very good action movie that leaves you feeling dazed after watching the events taking place. The acting itself is impressive with Arnold delivering one of his best performances as he makes for a human hero. Although this movie was controversial for it being delayed around the 9/11 attacks, Collateral Damage has more impact then most movies of it's ilk. D.Andrew Davis *** |
