| Class Of 1984(1982) Cast:Perry King,Timothy Van Patten,Roddy McDowall,Merrie Lynn Ross,Michael J. Fox Perry King stars as Andy Norris (No relation to Chuck) a teacher who goes up against a gang who makes life a living hell for Norris. Norris tries to keep a cool head at first but when the gang rapes his wife, it's time for Mr. Norris to teach the gang a lesson they'll never forget in this brutal and very compelling actioner which remains head and shoulders above most "Teacher on rampage" movies. Class Of 1984 is an immensely exciting actioner which is a hundred times better then you would expect, the movie is stylish and thrives on an atmosphere of uneasiness and grim brutality which works very well in engrossing the viewer. Mark L. Lester is an over the top director and this is the perfect type of actioner that works particularly well for him, in a carnage-drenched actioner not many can succeed in providing the suspense, in which Lester pulls off with effortless grace. Aside from also being well acted and having a taut script Class Of 1984 emerges rather well during it's climax in which Lester gives us a climax worthy of a Charles Bronson actioner which keeps the viewer at the edge-of-his-seat.
