Ryan,Nicole Hansen A woman from the future hires a soldier to protect her from a robot who's quest is to terminate the last fertile woman on earth in this mediocre Terminator rip off. Well it's Joe Lara, what do you expect? Actually for a Cannon production in their twilight years (Before they went bankrupt) American Cyborg:Steel Warrior is a cut above most post holocaust movies, the actionscenes are at least competently staged, the acting is acceptable given the genre and well John P. Ryan is on hand to elevate this above the usual trash churned out. However not all is good as the movie looks cheap, the plot is shamelessly stolen from The Terminator and Escape From New York, plus the special FX are pretty lame, but for our money, American Cyborg may indeed be routine stuff but it's done with enough energy to please action fans.
