Loren Avedon: All I can say is I see a lot of great movies with poor ratings..I never listen to ratings or critics.."The 5th Element" got poor reviews...I love it...so just look at critics review as one opinion...usually one that is justifying their job... Sweeper:What is your imput on why action films are going straight to video rather then theatrical? Loren Avedon:Depends on the market...you relize it takes close to 10 million dollers to put on a theatrical movie in this country..in other countries my movies are shown in theaters as wll as other B movies...just not here. Sweeper:Why did you take supporting roles rather then leading man? Loren Avedon:When you get a job offer you can't say thanks but I think I'll take the lead role....know what I mean...:) Sweeper:Who was your favorite actor you have ever worked with? Loren Avedon:Richard Jaekel is my favorite...he was so cool...all of them were great but he was the best. Sweeper:Thanks for agreeing to do the interview with me.......I appreciate it very much.
