Jellybean's page

This is our page for our 'soon to be born' grandaughter, nicknamed 'Jellybean', or 'bean' for short. I hope to keep it updated with news and pics, as we countdown to "delivery day". EDD is 1st August 2006.

20 Weeks

Rhianne at 20 weeks pregnant.

Jellybean's 20 week scan.

She's a girl!! Or as Rhianne puts it, "It's a pink Jellybean". Woohoo! The names Rhianne and Kevin have picked for her are:

Ella Courteney

24 Weeks

Rhianne's report

There is an old wives tale that states that if you get bad heart burn when pregnant then your baby will be born with lots of hair. Now I know that most of the time wives tales are rubbish but if this one is true, our wee little "JellyBean" is going to look like "cousin It"! lol.

Bean is VERY!!!!! active, she has three different types of kicks.

1. The Butterfly Kick : soft little fluttery kicks
2. The Standard Kick: what almost every other pregnant woman feels when their baby kicks
3. The POWER Kick: when it feels like her foot is going to come through your skin.

We have discovered that our little girl is already the biggest "DADDY'S GIRL" in the world.

28 Weeks

Ok, the 28 week update:

We have now firmly established that "Little Miss Bean" thinks that her mothers ribs are monkey bars and bladder is a punching bag.

She has the energy of an eveready battery, she just keeps going and going, but on the odd occasion that she does sleep, she sleeps like her father (arms and legs stretched out to full capacity, I like to call this the starfish).

SNOWFREEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is the most fabulous food ever invented and from the mouth of my midwife, 'she's happy as a pig in mud and couldn't be healthier'.

Love Lots
