This is a tutorial by my 4 year old Granddaughter, Mariah, on how to make pretty mud
clay and get away with using Grandma's pasta machine and as many tools as possible at the same time.
You start with a small sheet of pearl clay and pearl bullseye cane ends.
You run the ends through the pasta machine at #1 setting(biggest).
Time to take another picture Grandma.
Now place the cane ends on your sheet of pearl clay and press down with your thumb on each one.
Put the sheet through the pasta machine before adding ends to the other side.
As you can tell her favorite color is purple(like Grandma's)
Now finish adding the cane slices.
Doesn't that look so pretty after one pass through the pasta machine?
Put it through the pasta machine again using the two fist method of cranking.
Crank and fold some more.
Roll it a bit with the brayer.
Now we roll it up into a tube.
And pass this tube through the pasta machine open side up so we
don't get any bubbles in our clay.
Pass it through the pasta machine again.
Lay it out to take a look.
Stick it a few times with a needle tool before putting it through the pasta machine again.
You now have a pretty sheet of mud clay to use on the outside of a bead instead of the inside.
