**INDIA TOUR**
  ==================================================
  February 20 to March 3, 2004

    India is possibly the most diverse nation in the world. In area, it is the 7th largest country and in
    population, it is second to China. Within its geographical confines, stretching from the great himalayas
    in the north to the tropical peninsular south, there is a dizzying variety of cultures, beliefs, lifestyles and
    surely ethnic groups that few continents possess. It has a powerful assault on the senses, noisy, vibrant
    & chaotic yet there is a contrast of patterns and continuity. A country of a billion people , it can unfold a
    rare delights. Just slowly discovering their centuries old temples, tombs, forts , in the exquisite crafts,
    the bustle of bazaars, the aroma of Indian foods?? and in the serene beauty that one can see thru it's
    chaos. It was fun to learn of its monuments with different architectures, from sacred, buddhist, hindu
    islamic, secular, civic and vernacular architecture. I love the palaces, I love learning the history, it's not
    simply a fun holiday but a learning one.
    Here is the route we took, from New Delhi, to Agra and to the Rajashtan region, from the city of
    Jaipur, to Pushkar and Udaipur. Still so much to see, maybe one day.........!!! (scroll down some more)
