All right, I'll briefly explain my navigation system to you:
Well, first of all, I'm going to use the word "section" a lot in this explanation, cause I don't have a better word to use. It pertains to a part of my site all centered on one game (or on gluttons, goodies such as wallpapers, or reviews.). So, for example, my Final Fantasy VII section is a chunck of my site including all of the information devoted to Final Fantasy VII.
On the left, as you can see, I have a navigation bar. In the main section, goodies section, and reviews section, there are many links, a horizontal bar, and more links. The first group of links are those that pertain to that particular section, and the second group are links to different sections. OK, so that's nice and easy. But once you get to my other sections....
First, I have "game help." Click on this, and the left navigation frame will change to links that offer help on the game covered. This includes a hints & tips page in every section, as well as lists and other pages you could use when you get stuck in a game. Other common pages listed under game help are ability lists, equipment lists, item lists, bestiaries, and walkthroughs.
Next, I have "other game info." This takes you to links that are directly related to the game but do not help in beating the game. Some pages that are often listed under other game info are image galleries, character info, icon galleries, fan work, polls, and quizzes.
Then, I have "original info." Here's what makes my site unique: I have pages on many things from character astrology to fashion shows to holes in the plot. Check each section for this, because I have much more than just these few examples.
Next, there may or may not be a "characters" link. This section is included only in my Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy 9, and Suikoden 2 sections right now. (Note: In Suikoden 2, it's at the top because it's the most important part of my Suikoden 2 section). This is where I have in-depth character pages on several of the main characters, or in the case of Suikoden 2, all 108+ of the main characters. This is NOT the same as the characters page listed under "other game info"; as I have emphasized, it is much more complete!
Then we have "leaving." This includes the exact same links in every section: links to other sites and link me/get linked.
Next is "other." Like leaving, it's the same in every section, and includes updates, Site Map, Message Board, Thanks to..., Vote For Me, Guestbook, Help Me! , Chat, Win an Award, Awards I've Won, and Cliques.
Finally, below a horizontal rule, there's "sections." Click on it and you can visit other sections of the site!
