"Rock It Out" is Pia Zadora's second album and was released shortly after the movie The Lonely Lady. Two singles were released of this album : The Clapping Song (reached # 36 on Billboard) and Rock It Out (for which Pia got a Grammy nomination).
A very strange song on this album is Give Me Back My Heart. This is a ballad with a very classical arrangement. Very nice, but it doesn't really fit in.
Substitute is a cover of the Australian group Cloud. I don't know if this song is known in the US, but in Europe, Cloud had a very big hit with it.
The fact that there are only seven tracks on this album is due to the fact several songs appear in their extended version.
