PART FIVE
As she moved to run for the door, Angelus reached an arm up and grabbed the offending object and threw it against a faraway wall. Despite the pain he felt, he grabbed Cordelia by the shoulders and slammed her on to the bed.
“THAT was not playing nice.” Angelus’ hissed.
Struggling under the weight of his body, she shouted, “Oh would you just SHUT UP! I’m not playing anything! Now get off of me!”
She bucked her body and flailed her arms and legs but nothing could shake him.
Angelus felt the rush of a kill coming on, only there wasn’t going to be any killing. He wanted Cordelia just where she was right now. Hot, bothered and squirming under him was exactly where he needed her to be. Reaching forward he grabbed a set of manacles that were attached to the wall behind them and cuffed them to her wrists. He then leaned back to see the brunette chained and writhing for release. Perhaps it wasn’t the ‘release’ he was hoping to have her yearning for but it would do for now.
Cordelia’s jaw dropped as she heard click above her head. She was CHAINED to ANGELUS’ bed for god’s sake!! “YOU have manacles??!!?? What is this?? Angelus’ House of Pain?” she shrieked in utter disbelief. Whipping her wrists about, she soon found very little room to move.
Angelus, still straddling Cordelia’s legs, smirked, “House of Pain? Try Angel’s House of Pain. This location is Angel’s. As much as I’d like to take credit, this one was all soul boy.”
“Do I have BUFFY stamped to my frickin’ forehead?!!? You better get me out of these things Angelus or I swear to GOD…” she threatened.
“What? You’ll wriggle under me to death? Actually, that would be a hell of a way to go. It feels nice when you do that…oh yah…a little to the left. You really know how to hit the spot.” Angelus half taunted and half spoke the truth. He was really enjoying her being the one incapacitated for once.
“You disgusting toad! Get off of me right now!” she yelled in fury.
“It doesn’t feel nice to be chained up does it? How come every time we get together, Cordy, one of us ends up being chained or locked up? I’m starting to think you like it. You like chains, don’t you Cordy?” he prodded with a sly gaze that made her not want to follow his train of thought.
“You know what, you’re right. I do like chains. ON YOU. Me, personally, I find them a bit binding.” Cordelia shot back in her classic snobbery.
Angelus yawned dramatically and jumped off of her body, “Well that’s great. So, Cordy, it’s been interesting…but I’ve got to be going. You know…places to go, people to see and all the crap. Now give me a kiss and I’ll be off.” He then leaned downwards, gripped Cordelia’s jaw and pressed his lips roughly to hers’.
Cordelia jerkily shifted her head and looked up at his towering form, “You’re going to LEAVE me here? What am I supposed to do?!?”
“Don’t worry, love. I’ll be back in no time. Try not to miss me.” and with that said, Angelus walked out the door.
Cordelia’s eyes practically popped out of her head! She couldn’t believe the predicament that she was in! On top of that, Angelus had the audacity to leave her there barely able to move. What if she had to pee??
“This is ridiculous! Come on Cordelia, you can get out of this. You’ve been in worse situations. Think.” she tried. Thoughts of escape flooded her mind and one by one she ticked them off as impossible.
“Dammit! If only I’d taken up witch craft with Willow. I’d zap myself out of here in a jiffy…maybe to the Barbados. Yah, you know, plenty of sun there and definitely a shortage of damn vampires!” Cordelia mused at and then her thoughts drifted to tanning in the gorgeous sun and walking by muscular lifeguards in very little clothing. Now that would be fun.
Angelus strolled through his mansion and admired the beauty of it. It reminded him of an old Victorian painting. A classic beauty. As he walked, he touched the various pieces of art he and Angel had acquired and thought of what great taste he had.
Angelus then entered the grand drawing room. Every room in the house was extravagant but the drawing room was something more. Walking close to the windows, Angelus yanked on the cord and all the curtains spread apart and in flooded the glorious sunlight that was once so deadly. He moved to stand directly in front of the sunlight to bask in its warmth and he smiled. Thank the devil, Angel wasn’t so incompetent as to smash the real Gem of Amara.
Suddenly, he heard a noise come from behind him. He sauntered over towards a door that was discreetly hidden behind a cloak of fabric. Angelus pulled the large metal door and switched on a light that illuminated a dusty stair case. Down he went, only to find that the third piece of his plan had come together beautifully. The first being the capture of Cordelia and the second being his new cohorts, Fred and Gunn.
They had performed well and stood by their own captives, Buffy and Wesley. Gunn spoke with pride, “Sire, we did as you asked. It was really a piece of cake. Buffy was no match for me. After she’d started reminiscing about your past together, I took her down.”
“Yeah, sire. Dear Wesley, he didn’t even see it coming.” Fred spoke with excitement glittering in her eyes.
Angelus was pleased. At first, he was weary about turning the two but they were perfect. |
