These are the Guinea Pigs we share our house with. Meej and Shrimp. Shrimp is Meej's son, because we had a little accident!
We adopted these two Guinea Pigs. One called Meej, the other called Pugwash. We were told that they were both girls, but they were sadly wrong (Well, not about Meej. She really is a girl!). When mum and dad found out, they took Pugwash back to the special Guinea Pig center to be re-homed. About 2 weeks later, I discovered that when I was holding Meej that there was some rather strange movement hitting my hand. I said to mum,
"She's going to be a mummy!".
She wouldn't believe me but after close inspection she had to agree. So after a long wait, Master Shrimp was born 2 hours 1 minute before the Millennium!
We got Meej and Shrimp after the unfortunate deaths of our two other Guinea Pigs, Chestnut and Snowy. |
