Johannesburg is the shopping capital of South Africa & not much to see other than the shopping malls. But a few minutes from the commercial center is theGold-Reef City, it's real charm is that (literally) underneath all the theme-park veneer, there lies a labyrinth of tunnels, built around number 14 shaft, the original gold mine that operated from 1887 to 1971. |
After the underground tour and the show on the actual pouring of gold, a Can-can dancing which is an extraordinary mix of tribal dancing providing entertainment and insight at the same time. |
