Sleepy-Weepy, the lesser known "5th Teletubby"

February 5, 2000--Sammy had a great first birthday! We had a party with our friends, and Sammy's best friend Jack came over with his parents, Julie & Steve (you can see Jack on the next page). She got lots o' loot, including a ton of books!! Her favorite book right now is Hand Hand Finger Thumb, which Mike & I have memorized and are plagued with throughout the day.
Sam still has a great appetite, and is still going strong with breastfeeding. She eats everything except honey & nuts (and of course, candy). She still would eat cheese until it's coming out her ears, and I recently discovered she LOVES garlic. There's nothing quite like a baby with garlic breath, though.
She has 8 teeth, and her molars are now coming in. The poor kid is not getting any break. She loves to brush her teeth, and often tries to brush *mine* (charming).
She is an official toddler now, running and climbing & jumping...luckily Mike & I still get lots of cuddle time when she wants us to read to her, and at bedtime. She has entered the terrible two's a bit early, but we'll survive. That kid's got a set of lungs that could make Lita Ford jealous!
