Please realize I don't mean to offend anyone....I'm just a little peeved how some people don't do their research on rabbits before they purchase them. Purchasing any type of animal shouldn't be taken lightly. Rabbits are not like Kittens! They do not come litter trained, nor is it ever guaranteed they will become fully litter trained. It has nothing to do with the breeder, or genetics. All you can do is try your best. If you get the rabbit urinating in the litter box, that's GREAT! I consider that a successfully litter trained bunny. Please realize bunnies poop so often, it's quite difficult to make it in the litter box. If you can not handle little poops in the rest of the cage or floor, please do not get a bunny. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I love my bunnies and want them going to good homes only. Not only my bunnies, but any bunny purchased. If you are looking for a pet bunny for your family, please, PLEASE research! In the last month, I have received quite a few e-mails from pet people complaining about their rabbits "potty techniques". They obviously didn't do their research if they are expecting nothing but a perfectly litter trained rabbit. |
