| Lady Dragon head coach Cy Tucker has been coaching soccer since 1976, starting as a boys team coach at St. Francis High School, then as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Atherton. Next he became Walden's head coach for 10 years. In 1989 he became the head coach for the boys team at Oldham County. Then in 1990, he came to South Oldham High School where he not only coached the boys team but started the first girls soccer team in the Louisville Metro area. In 1993 he began his impressive run coaching the SOHS girls team exclusively, directing the Lady Dragons to numerous district and regional titles. |
| His teams have won 6 State Championships including the only "4-Peat" in Kentucky Girls Soccer history from 1998 through 2001. Coach Tucker received State & Regional Coach of the Year honors in '95, '96, and 1998. He was a finalist for the National High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2006 and was inducted into the Metro Athletic Director's High School Hall of Fame in 2004. Coach Tucker teaches science at South Oldham Middle School. |
