This is definitely not a movie for everybody. You have
to be prepared to not only feel along
with it, but to think and try to understand the many
different ways Spielberg
trying to say
almost the same thing as what Bicentennial
Man with Robin Williams
poked sad fun at:
acceptance of others, whoever or whatever they might
be.
Unfortunately for moviegoers this is the kind of
movie you better rent and rewatch
again and again to see other ideas embedded in it like
small fragments.
And this is a great move, don't misunderstand me, but
you going to have to look for
those fragments of ideas. This is after all a clash between
Kubrick's
and Spielberg 's
vision.
