Welcome!
Thank you for visiting PFLAG El
Paso Online. We hope that you will find helpful information
here.
PFLAG is a non-profit
organization that is recognized all over the world for its efforts in
supporting others when they receive news that a loved one is Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual or Transgendered. We are here to help the individual cope.
We are also here to educate the public on sexual orientation and gender
identity. We advocate for the GLBT communities at large, especially
here in our town.
PFLAG's
Mission Statement
PFLAG promotes the health and
well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons, their
families, and friends through: support,
to cope with an adverse society; education,
to enlighten an ill-informed public; and
advocacy, to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights.
PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and
gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and
respectful of human diversity.

PFLAG El Paso gathers each month
on the 3rd Tuesday at El Paso Metropolitan Community Church
(located at
216 S. Ochoa St.) at 7 p.m. Our meetings consist
of "rap sessions," in which we huddle in circles and have
support sessions. Following our circles of support, we usually
have a program. At PFLAG, we honor our policy on confidentiality
and will not share any information about our visitors or members
with any outside group or entity. For more information on PFLAG
El Paso, feel free to contact us
today.
