Gay Marriage?

God has never been ambiguous about the purpose and make up of marriage. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply.” (Gen:1:27-28) Jesus echoed this teaching in (Matt: 9:4-6) when He stated,“that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” (Matt 19:4-6). It can not be denied that marriage has been ordained by God as holy union between one man and one woman for the purpose of sexual intimacy and the rearing of children since the beginning of time, but today we are plagued with a culture that has lost it’s moral compass and wants to sanction same sex marriage.

No one can deny that God’s precepts of marriage have been cast aside by the majority of the population over the past forty years, but how did this happen? The secular elite's with an agenda to redefine marriage and the family to their liking launched their satanic assault in the early 1960’s. The first maneuver by these anti marriage pundits was to sever the link between sexual intimacy and procreation. Not surprisingly this was accomplished with great ease. The introduction of the pill and other economical and readily available forms of birth control devices allowed the lustful appetites of the populace to reduced sex into a mere recreational activity. This is evident by the birth rate falling below the replacement in every first world nation over the past forty years, the high proportions of couples that now cohabit rather marry, and societies general acceptance of fornication.Next, no fault divorce laws were dropped like an atomic bomb upon marriage in order to pulverize the principle that matrimony was until death do us part. The fallout can not be denied since the United States now has a divorce rate fast approaching 60%. Contraception along with new divorce laws radically changed society and opened the door for the homosexual activists to come out of the closet and demand the right of same sex marriage.

Today, the gay movement with the assistance of the media and entertainment industry has been able to persuade many individuals into perversely equating gay and lesbian issues with that of the struggle Black Americans had to endure in the 1960’s for civil rights. Homosexual leaders have also pounced upon how so many heterosexuals now embrace the secular concepts of marriage, sex and divorce and now exclaim, “If marriage is simply an emotional commitment which can be dissolved for what ever reason and the majority of heterosexuals in married relationships participate in contraceptive sex devoid of any desire of procreation, why should homosexuals couples be denied the legal right of marriage?”

The answer by anyone that understands God’s plan for marriage and follows the natural law of His creation will simply answer, “Sodomy just like contraceptive sex unquestionably denies the sacrament of marriage because they both intentionally close the sexual act to procreation, and therefore are empty and can never unify those who engage in them. Those unfortunate husbands and wives that can not conceive for what ever reason do not intentionally say no to new life but use their bodies in the proper manner and therefore should never be denied matrimony. Marriage is between only one man and one woman. It is society's fundamental building block. Procreation and the care of children are the primary reasons every societies has sanctioned heterosexual marriage and invested in those unions by granting specific legal and financial benefits.”
