Ore Gondolas

From 1926 untill the end, the main transport on the rails of the EFPP was concentrated in the ore transport, more specifically, lime stones to be burned in the cement mill. A variant was the clay transportation, made from km. 6,5 to the mill. 

Gondola car for the limestone transport. There were three manufacturers that supplied cars for the Brazilian Portland Cement Co.: Magor, Koppel and Pressed Steel. The design was identical. This one is from Pressed Steel. Photo published in the “Car Builders Cyclopaedia, 1937.
