Where did the idea for Tressalara begin?
The original idea for this character came from a charming short story written by Marianne Willman entitled, "Dragonspell." I got the story as a Valentine's Day present from my husband. The moment I read it, I was completely captivated by the Amelonian Princess. I knew I had to make her into a character for Ravens Dale.

How was Tressalara introduced into Ravens Dale?
Basically, she just entered the Rivendell inn one night, with her head lady-in-waiting. She then began speaking with a young man and her dilemma was introduced to him and the other patrons there.

What is Tressalara like?
Tressalara's personality is very diverse. When she was young, she was quite the tomboy, sneaking away from the palace to ride and hunt in the woods. But as she got older, she began taking on the more traditional traits one would think to find in a princess. She was soft spoken, kind, perhaps a little vain. Until, her country came under peril and she was forced to fight back. Tressalara had been exiled from Amelonia. She came come to Ravens Dale, seaking help to reclaim her land from the tyrant Lord Cador Lector. Also, once she married her beloved Kram, she began training with a staff and elemental magic. But through it all, she remains the loving, decicated and sweet spirited girl she has always been... and on occassion, a bit prissy.

They have a 2 year old son, Jaridus (Jared) Drakee who was born on January 23.
