What is Shion's story
Shion lives in China during the times of the great wars between the Mongols and China. How she met up with the great ex-German gladiator was in a military prison camp where she worked as a cook and water girl. Shattered had been taken prisioner with a group of Japanese soliders.

She felt instantly drawn to the foreign warrior, so that night, she helped him escape his prision cell and left the camp with him. From there, they have traveled northeast, on their way to Shattered's homeland of Germania.

But they have been detered in their travels. Winter came quickly and harshly to the northern borders of China this year, forcing the couple to seek refuge with a group of nomads... and now in a small town for the rest of the winter.

Shattered and Shion are now in love and are expecting a child in the summer.
