The school was started in January 1989, by Pastor Trevor Jones and his wife,the school started with aproximately 20 children,
whose parents were all active members of the Abundant Life Christian Church,
He had a great vision for Christian Education in this country which he freely shared and soon the school grew to approximately 40 children from all denominations.

Since, the school has steadilly grown to the present enrolment of one hundred and thirty children,
ranging from pre-school to grade 12,
Abundant Life Christian School was the 6th ACE school registered in South Africa.At the time the ruling government of SA did not take lightly to a new system of education and the founders went through many threats of closure,
imprisonment and isolation, none of which, by the grace of God, ever materialized.
