Work: I am a House Supervisor in a Community Residential Unit that offers high support to young adults with an intellectual and physical disability.
Hobbies: I love travelling. I adore anything art-crafty. I love reading and writing. I enjoy sitting at my computer doing stuff, whether it is surfing, chatting, visiting my favourite message board- PAX, or working with html. I enjoy watching movies. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my neices and nephews. I don't like sports, as my legs are too little, but I love walking and bike-riding.
How I Became A Phile: A friend actually told me about the show, so I sat down to watch it during season 3. I was hooked within weeks. I then started taping the episodes to re-watch them. Viva-la-reruns! I like both Scully and Mulder equally, but have a special interest in Scully as I believe she offers a strong role-model for women. Her truth and loyalty, her focus on her work, her inner strength and her reliance on her intellegence and knowledge to succeed rather than her physical features all impress me beyond words. I love the show because it offers an interesting balance of paranormal and scientific elements, the stories are often amazingly unusual, the directing is superb, the music is so perfect and the characters are so likable. The best aspect of the show is the multi-layered storytelling, in that I can rewatch an episode and see another aspect that I had not considered before. The social and moral standards and values that are represented pique my interest, and the underlying layers of conspiracy, professional abuse and greed always entertain me.

Anything with Meg Ryan, Sean Connery, Denzel Washington, DD and GA. TV: Hahahahah - Obviously X-Files is number One. I also love Sci-fi. I am a Trekkie, and a Quantum Leaper. Food: I am a vegetarian, and love vegies - esp potatoes. Yumm. I ADORE sushi. Drink: I am addicted to coffee. Seriously addicted. Just ask Boxers or Christina! I also like rum.
