tree line

trees and breeze and freezing pain

locked inside my frightened brain

afraid to talk to shy to say

the unreal things i'll never say

locked in place just like the trees

weakness knocking in my knees

i dream the words i'll never say

i know they'd carry  you away

falling walls and lonely reach

i yearn for tender love's  release

i fall to hard and then to fast

to ever see the tree line pass
