MITCH GRUBER |
When Mitch first entered the Pool Wiffle Ball scene back in 2001 he proved he was worth all the hype and so much more. His passion for the game is only matched by that of his archrival, Michael Jachles. In his rookie year, Mitch led the league in wins and innings pitched and won the Cy Young Award by a slim margin over Pete Bertucci. He also easily took home the Rookie of the Year Award. Last year Mitch proved there would be no sophomore slump as all his offensive numbers improved and he had 16 wins on the hill. Mitch even has a special clause named after him, which states that if you are splashing to get to first and the ball incidentally sinks, it is not your fault. Another high point in Mitch's career was when he got so riled up over the legendary "phantom hit" in the World Series that all 3 members of the opposing team despised him. Mitch is known throughout the league for his loud mouth, large ego, but most of all his undisputable talent in the pool. |
