Evans Farm Bagels

The Bagels have high hopes for the 2006 campaign.  Led by league founder Paul Holt, who has been swinging a hot bat in spring training, the Bagels have a swagger that they lacked in 2004, despite having pretty much the same team.  Their starting three will be Holt at robber, a perennial gold glover, 2005 Cy Young winner Andy Osburn at pitcher, and Mike Anthony at first base.  Coming off the bench, the Bagels feature Jay "Robber Man" Fleming, a key to their previous successes, and the limitless "Any Girl" player, which will most likely consist of Josephine Babiarz and Megan Spillane.  While they are by no means the favorite, expect the Bagels to contend for a playoff spot.
