For my third web assignment I decided to create a sacramental. I chose to use some special rocks I have and paint them with some words that personally help me keep from being overwhelmed by society's negative values. Three of the rocks I used were ones I had collected a long time ago. On these rocks I painted the words courage, love and faith. Courage helps me stand up for what I believe in and what is right. Love inspires me to care for others and strive towards the kingdom of God. Faith connects me to God so that I am able to understand what is right and what our society needs to improve on. On another rock I had, I wrote the word God. The rock I used is a type of rock that when you rub it together with another type of it rocks it makes sparks and starts to have a burning smell. I think this rock was perfect to bear the name of God because it shows how he ignites the "spark" in all of us, and me personally, to live with the three words I chose for my sacramental.
