Snow Peas and Mushrooms |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil 2 scallions, cut into 1 inch slices 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger |
Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the scallions, garlic, and ginger. Saute for 1-2 minutes and then add the mushrooms. Cook for 1 minute. Add the snow peas and cook and stir for 3 minutes. Add the soy sauce and cook for 1 minute. Thicken the mixture with the cornstarch and water and serve immediately. Serves 6 |
8 mushrooms thinly sliced 1 pound snow peas (strings removed) 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 teaspoons water. |
