Hot Bacon Bean Dip
1 can (8 ounces) kidney beans, drained
2 slices bacon
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper






1 teaspoon instant minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper


Mash beans. Fry bacon until crisp, remove and pat on paper towel. Stir beans into drippings in skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring until all fat is absorbed.
Mix in sour cream, green pepper, onion and seasonings, stir into bean mixture. Crumble bacon and stir in.


Makes 2 cups
