2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted 1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 green chili peppers finely chopped 1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid mixture 1 medium tomato, peeled and finely chopped |
Mash avocados, add onion, peppers, lemon juice, salt, pepper and ascorbic acid mixture. Beat until creamy. Gently fold in tomato. Cover and refrigerate until served. Makes about 2 cups |
