Gaucamole
2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 green chili peppers finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice





1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid mixture
1 medium tomato, peeled and finely chopped


Mash avocados, add onion, peppers, lemon juice, salt, pepper and ascorbic acid mixture. Beat until creamy. Gently fold in tomato. Cover and refrigerate until served.

Makes about  2 cups
