Welcome! This is Endless Masquerading, a site dedicated to costumes and costumers that draw inspiration from the works of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. I'm Patchcontrary, and I will be your hostess here! While there are many sites that dedicate themselves to such costumes, rarely are they ever dedicated to more than one show. With this site, I hope to bring together costumers for all ALW musicals much in the way the CATS Fans' Costumes Picture Archive has for CATS fans.

As you might be able to tell, I am something of a CATS fan myself (*sigh* Who could say no to any of those uber-cute toms?), but I am also a fan of many other of ALW's works, and am itching to see the ones that I haven't been able to yet. This is a feeling that I hope to pass on to everyone who comes through this archive for the first time, or even on return visits. I hope that this archive will be yet another way to help expose people to other ALW musicals that they might not otherwise be exposed to for some reason or another (Like I've heard rumors that The Beautiful Game won't be brought to America). So, even if you are a die-hard CATS fan, why not wonder over to the Phantom section? You might think the idea of people dressing up as trains and skating around is silly, but you really ought to see what I know some of the Starlight Express fans can do! And sure, Joseph's coat might sound like an easy project, but I dare you to make a coat with all of the colors imaginable. I'm sure this page will start out quite small, but I hope to soon have a wide variety here to show you. When you go to a show's page, just click on the teaser icon to see the entire picture!

Site Guidelines and Information
1. When submitting your photo, make sure you tell me the name of the character and the production he/she/it's from. I haven't seen all of ALW's musicals yet, so please let me know who you are!

2. Please send only one picture of yourself per costume. And please make sure that it's either a .jpg file or a .gif file.

3. Let me know if you want me to post your screen name/e-mail/webpage address.

4. Please let me know if your information changes. I know I get fustrated with links that are dead or e-mails that no longer exist, so you guys probably do too.

5. If, for any reason, you wish to be taken out of the archive, e-mail me and I'll do it right away.

6. Umm, I know that I'm *obviously* a fan creation, but I'd like to keep this as an archive for actual characters. Not that I'm knocking fan characters at all! If you'd like a fan character posted, I do have a CATS page that I could accomidate fan CATS characters on.

7. I have no problem with cross-dressing! Girls, go ahead and dress up as the Phantom! Guys, if you've got the bod for Evita, go for it (just shave first, 'k?)!

8.Obviously this indicates that a picture or feature is new to the page. *he-he!* It moves!

9.If you'd like to e-mail a costumer, look for this little icon. Not all costumers give me their e-mail to post, so not all costumers will have this next to their names.

10.Some costumers have their own costume sites, websites, or the pictures are being loaned to me from other sites. If you see this icon, then it will take you to said page. Please take the time to visit these sites if you like a costumer's work.

11. Send your pictures to me! Just click the little icon!

12. Finally, this is the most important rule - *NO STEALING!* These pictures and costumes belong to the people who put their time and effort into making them, and they are the ones you have to ask to use their images. To have them here means that people have either asked me to put them here, or I've asked them. Please respect that.
