Pensacola
This charming small town is where
I moved in the third grade. For a navy brat, I was unusually stationary
and managed to call Pensacola
my home for nine years. Tourism and the Pensacola
Naval Air Station are the main lifelines of Pensacola's economy.
I did my part by hitting the white
sand beaches as often as I could. (The sand actually squeaks
when you walk on it!) Despite the many distractions Pensacola offers
(Ayman did you know there is a fort downtown??!?;) I somehow managed to
graduate from Pensacola
High School's International Baccalaureate
program.
My water brother, Mayumi, and I
at a New Year's Eve party at a beach house. Mayumi
and I on our road trip from Florida to California.
This is Ayman and I at a friend's
birthday party when we were attacked by silly string and my sister, Sara,
and I in St. Pete (her new home).
