| ~ Aloha ~ ~~ Paradise Discovered Twice ~~ The majority of items found here are at Paradise Discovered Twice originate from my personal array of "collectables" acquired over the past 15-20 years. Whether you conisder them antiques, collectables, vintage goods, bric a brac, (or even junk to some) I find many of them to be quite unique and I hope you will too. I can say that these "objects of my affection" were hand picked with great attention to their overall condition as well as their appeal during my many escapades through Estate Sales, Garage Sales, Swap Meets, Auctions, Vintage Stores, Flea Markets, etc., in search of such goodies that catch the eye. You might just say I discovered them..................... HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE!!! And such, this is how Paradise Discovered Twice was born. Just a note...... I always try to choose items that are unique as well as being in their original condition. Some things being rather common and others quite unique.or hard to find. These are from a time when although life may have been simpler in many ways, it was perhaps also different in other other ways. When looking at the craftsmanship put into items made during the yesteryears, it seems a there was much more attention and effort put into the human aspect during the creation or manufacturing process. More things were done by hand rather than by machine and designed to withstand many years of use. Unlike the way things are made today. Todays' goods are mass produced, mostly by machines and by far, not intended to last a lifetime. Not even close.... If you have an appreciation for things of yesterday, hopefully you will enjoy looking and maybe even find something you like! My site is still under construction, so new items will be added. I try to purchase top quality items as much as possible, but if you are familiar with "vintage" items that is not always the case. Therfeore, if an item does have any flaws, I will make a note of it in the description of that item.
