THE SECOND WAR OF INDEPENDENCE | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The first shots were fired in 1861, The Confederacy fired on Fort Sumpter, but it all began a lot earlier when Congress, along with the White House was passing Tarrifs on imports that hurt the Southern States. The tarrifs forced them to buy goods from the north paying high prices, and high taxes. Certain states, mostly in the south, felt like they were getting a bad deal, and after years of trying to better themselves with politics, decited that they would never get it done that way, decited to just withdraw from the union and form their own goverment. Maryland was with them at first but before they could really get done with the leagle Acts of Secession the federals came into that state, hang some people for simply speaking against the union, put others under military arrest, and prevented their secession. Lincoln closed down around Fifty Newspapers for simply writing the truth. There were people around who were actively opposing slavery, John Brown for one. he was being paid by nothern powers to stir up the slaves. Three years befor the war begin he was hung, Robert E Lee, and J.E.B.Stuart, who were officers in the union army at that time, were leading the soldiers who captured John Brown, this was in no way connected to the war, the war was yet three years in the future. Just as we did England when we pulled away from them in 1776, the southern states drew up a constitution of their own, explained to washington what they were doing, started printing their own money. They asked Lincoln to please remove the Federal soldiers from their country. Lincoln sent back word that they would be removed as soon as they could make the arrangments. Under cover of night the troops were moved into Fort Sumptor, off the shores of South Carolina, an island belonging to Carolina'. Ships were being sent to supply Sumpter, and Lincoln was calling up thousands of new recruits to attack the new formed country. The South fired upon Sumpter for three days. The only man to die in that battle was a union man at sumpter who blew himself up accidently. But the war was on. No one said, "free your slaves". No one said, "no I will not". It was not about slavery, it was about wanting a better goverment. Artical 13 was ready to be radified, which would insure that slavery would not be in any danger from Congress. If Carolina had not fired on Sumpter Artical 13 would have been radified, then even the war would not have freed the slaves. If slavery had been the reason for the war, dont you think the south would have held off untill that Artical became Law.? The war lasted for four years and freedom lost, The U.S A, was even worse than befor, rights that were at first considered valid, were no longer valid. The goverment of the U.S.of A, now knew that it could treat the people any way they wished and get by with it. It proved that a president, without consent of Congress could resend Hebius Corpus and put people in prison without a lawyer, or trial. They proved that a president could have People hung for speaking out against them. They proved that Newspapers could be shut down for printing things contrary to the president wishes. They proved that just because something was printed in the Bill Of Rights did not mean that it would be honored. These things were all done between 1861, and 1865, and some of it in great numbers. And over time they proved that history is whatever the goverment wants it to be, as they only accepted books for their schools that told a mixture of truth ,and lies, that made things appear the way they wanted them to appear. They put a completely bogus twist on the reasons for the Civil War, but since then they have done the same with a lot of things. I believe it was "Will Rogers" that said, "If you want to know when a politician is lieing, check to see if his lips are moving." Taxation without representation was one of the reasons given for our withdrawal from England. We have the same thing now. Notice the word Representation. We have represenatives, but not representation. We elect them, but they represent everybody but us, us being,( WE THE PEOPLE). We elect them with a clear mandate, and they are soon telling us why we elected them, and its something diffrent, its not our reason, its their reason. A way to get around doing the right thing. A way to please their financial backers. The people who are really running this country is the very wealthy. The Heads of the large corporations, even some forign countries. They pick the canadates to run for president. We get a chioce of four, they have bought all four. Just take your pick, They also buy up both parties of congressmen. I cant tell you what the answer is. How to make things better. But the first step is knowing that the problem exists. The second step is telling other people, trying to make others understand. We are dealing with some very dumb people , our fellow citizens, many of them argue in favor of this Capitolism. Capitolism which is quickly turning into Dictatorship. they are brainwashed I suppose. We are still doing pretty good as to date, we live good, eat well, and everything, I guess that is what is giving people their false sence of security. That will pass. Most of the (use to be ) middle class are going more in debt every day, They get so far in debt that they cant recover, then they file bankrup , then start right back into debt. Where is all of this taking us. |

Before the war started there was a bill proposed in Congress called Artical 13. It was to set aside the laws of slavery, putting it out of the reach of Congress, Stating that slaves were property, and that Congress could not interfere with or pass laws making it ileagle. This bill had support of most of Congress, and of Lincoln. It was about to be radified but was set aside when Fort Sumpter was fired upon. This Bill was passing by a landslide, and with no help from the Southern States which had already Cedded. Their Delagates were already gone home to their new country, The CSA. In a letters, and in speaches, Lincoln stated that the war was not about slavery, That he did not think it legal for him to interfere with slavery. It was only when the war became unpopular, and he feared that England would join forces with the South that he came out with the Amansipation Proclamation, and put a slavery spin on the war. I am aginst slavery, and I believe that lincloln was also, but he cared very little for the black race. He clearly intended to deport the freed slaves after the war, and was making preporations to do so up untill he was shot. The Northern money bags saw a good thing in the very cheep labor the exslaves provided and made no move to follow up on Lincolns plans. They also pretty much hid the facts from history about his plans to deport them, as they hid most of the truth concerning the war. What I am telling you is the truth, and you can find the records as well as I did. Most of it is on the enternet. Lincolns speaches, his letters to various people. The 1861 Artical 13, and much much more. The winner of a war writes the history, or at least they are in controll of what is published in the school books. The American Civil War was very much the same as The Revolutionary War, except the good guys lost. The America that was set up by our forfathers cessed to exist. We wound up with the same kind of goverment that we left in England. One that controlled the people who were supposed to be controlling it. |

THE ARTICALS OF CONFEDERATION AGREED TO BY CONGRESS NOVEMBER 15 1777 RADIFIED AN IN FORCE MARCH 1, 1781 THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Our founding fathers had just got through fighting a war with england for independence. They wanted freedom from a goverment that was taxing them, but not representing them. They wanted a goverment where an individual had better rights, and more say in what their laws would be. They wanted a goverment that served them, insted of the other way around. I believe they had great ideas, and their intentions were superb. The weak spot in their design however was in their check and balance system. The Senate, Congress, and presidental office was to keep check on each other. They were not taking into account that these offices might be filled with people who had simular ideas, That they could get their heads together and have a situation where nobody checked anybody. This began to happen right away. Our central goverment began taking more power unto itself, and becomming more and more federalistic. Taking on more and more responsability for the States, and therefore gaining more and more power over the States. The heading of the Constitution might as well have been "THE ARTICALS OF FEDERALISM" OR " CAPITOLISM." |
