Florica Leonida's Biography

Florica Leonida was born in Bucharest on January 13, 1987. Her mother
cleans the gym & her father works as a bartender. She has an older
brother. Florica's home club is Army Sports Steaua, where the coaches
are Eliza Stoica, Elena Ceampelea & Mariana Dudas (choreographer).
Her favorite gymnasts are Claudia Presacan & Maria Olaru. In her
spare time, Florica enjoys playing cards & doing crossword puzzles.
In 1999 she earned the gold medal with her team in the national
championships & in the same year she made her international debut
on the Romanian team. She's expected to be one of the bright new
stars for the Romanian program.
