Daniela Silivas' Biography

Daniela Silivas was born in Deva on May 9, 1970. She is by far one of the
best Romanian gymnasts ever. Her international career began in 1982 when
she was only 12. She was a member of 3 Worlds teams, in 1985, 1987 &
1989. She also narrowly missed winning the 1988 Olympics. Many felt
she should've won. Dana retired in late 1989 at the age of 19, but she did
compete in the 1991 World Professional Championships. This was her final
meet. Dana remained in the USA & opened a gym in Atlanta, Georgia where
she now lives & coaches.
