Pam has friends in high places - everyone is a PamFan!

It could be that you have stumbled across this web site and you are *not* a Pam fan. Perhaps you are wondering why we love her so. Truth is, PamRockz!

Pam Shriver delivers to the world the best commentary, with her wit and insight of the game of tennis. But it is her humour that we love most, her joke cracking and entertaining soundtrack making even the dullest match watchable.
In fact, when Pam is commentating you can turn the picture off and just listen.

With the recent WTA 30th aniversary celebration, who did the tour hire as their presenter of the ceremony? Yes, our very own Pam, testimony to her wonderful speaking skills.

Of course, Pam will mostly be remembered for her illustrious tennis career, where she formed a formidable partnership with Martina Navratilova. Arguably, Pam was the jewel in the pairing! (Pam did take more sets off Martina in 1986 than any other player)

22 doubles slams (one mixed) speaks for itself. An Olympic Gold medal is a pinnacle of any sportsman/woman's career, and that achievement should also be championed. The lack of a singles slam is the only blot on an otherwise unblemished resume, but for this we love her even more anyway.
Pam was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2002, and rightly so. No one complained, they just wondered why it had taken so long.
