This was started before AOTC came out. Until that point, I had Padmé's father named Tim. Pretend that the first few notes say "Ruwee" instead of Tim, since that is her father's name. The notes written after AOTC will reflect this change.

By the way, are you familiar with battles? How many have taken place so far?

Have the Imperials or Rebels won them?

Yes, my family is strongly involved in the Rebellion. You see, my daughter Padmé was the one whom came up with the idea after she lived her past, and she asked John, and Sally (my wife) to help, so we did.

There aren't many battles that the Rebellion has been involved in. This is of the first, but this is the MOST important. Well, the Rebel has won most of them, because the Imperials won't as involved in them as they are now.

Well, I hope you friend fights well. He (as is every other pilot) is VERY important to the Rebellion. I will tell you if something happens to him, would you like that??

That’s neat that Padmé is your daughter and that she came up with the idea of the Rebellion, and that your whole family started to participate.

I see…so this is a very important battle? Well I hope my friend and the other pilots can destroy the Death Star before Yavin destroys us. There is only one minute left.

I hope that my friend will do well too. There aren’t very many pilots left in the battle, but my friend is among those left. I hope he knows what he’s doing. I like him a lot. Yes, please let me know if something happens to him.

So has anything happened to him?

Nothing THAT bad has happened to Luke. He's only been shot at twice. The first shot didn't do anything and the second hit his droid. His droid is fine, but it won't be able to help him. I also think that he's being chased by Vader. Hopefully Luke will be able to trick Vader and destroy the Death Star. He's our only hope. All the other pilots were either killed, or forced to retreat because of damage. He's the only one there. I hope he can get the Death Star, before it gets us.

I'll keep you up to date, and tell you anything I hear from him. Ok?

Well I’m glad that nothing that bad happened to Luke in the battle. He was the one that made the shot that destroyed the Death Star, wasn’t he? That made me so happy!

I can’t believe he made that shot without having his targeting computer on. How did he do that?

R2-D2 can be repaired, right?

I’m glad Vader didn’t kill him. I was so worried about Luke.

I wonder what the Imperials thought of having their “indestructible” Death Star destroyed!

Did Vader survive the battle? I hope he died? I saw that his ship started spinning out of control. I hope it got caught up in the explosion.

I’m going to ask that Luke, Han, and Chewie be honored in a special awards ceremony. Do you think that’s proper?

Also, do you know where our new base will be? We’ll obviously have to move it.

Our next base is Hoth, which is a winter, cold planet, so be prepared for FREEZING weather!

An award ceremony for Luke and Han I believe would be proper, but Luke doesn't seem thrilled of the idea!

Yes, it was Luke that destroyed the Death Star (don't tell me I told you, because he told me not to tell anyone). I too wonder what the Emperor thinks about having his Death Star destroyed.

I don't know what happened to Vader, but if he lived, you can count on us hearing from him soon. He will NEVER leave us alone.

Yes R2 can and will be repaired, don't worry about him.

First Leia and Tim (Ruwee) Note written after AOTC came out. From this point on out, Tim’s name will be Ruwee (because that’s what Padme’s father is supposed to be named) and Samantha’s name will change to Mon Mothma.

Yes, Hoth is very cold. I am quickly finding that out, but the bad thing is that one of my best friends here is out in it. Luke and Han went out to look for life forms, only Luke didn’t come back. Han did. I’m so worried about him because the temperature is dropping quickly, and then Han went after Luke. Neither one of them has reported back to the base yet. Have you heard anything from either one of them?

No, Luke wasn’t too happy with me for coming up with the idea for the awards ceremony, but oh well. It went very well, don’t you think?

Yes…I know…Luke told me not to tell anyone that he was the only one that destroyed the Death Star, and I don’t understand why he doesn’t want anyone to know that. He did the Rebellion a great service, and he should be honored. I hope that we never find out what the Emperor’s reaction is to the Death Star getting blown up, because I know it would not be good.

Well I haven’t heard from Vader, so I don’t know if he’s dead or alive. I am quickly realizing that Vader is evil and will never leave the Rebellion alone. I still wonder how Vader became so evil.

I am glad that you were able to repair R2-D2, and I’m sure that Luke’s glad about that too. Luke seems to really like R2-D2 a lot, and I think part of the reason is that it got Luke into the Rebellion (one way).
