|Recent Capoeira Events 2008|

Contramestre Perere's visit to Kyushu Island, Japan in April 2008 was awesome. the folks there are wonderful and here is a photo of Perer� and instructor Jesse with members of Jesse's children's class in Japan.

April 2008: Capoeira students from all over Japan came to share and explore in a weekend workshop in capoeira angola with CM Perere.

And the event in Japan got a little article in the local newspaper. Right on!

We live in a free country, a democracy you say? Well I agree with the old saying "the price of Liberty is eternal vigilance". So I offer up here some good & fun quotes to dig into and meditate on regarding our continued and ensuing Freedom & Liberation - a thing we can only give to ourselves but which may be taken from us if we are negligent, distracted, and/or asleep.
