Spell to Find a Job

On the next Full Moon, burn a candle (color is your choice) that represents you, a brown candle to represent the job, and a green candle for prosperity. Burn a prosperity incense and anoint the candles with a prosperity oil (perhaps cinnamon). Anoint from wick to end. Place the brown candle in the center of the altar, the green on the right, and your candle on the left. Light the candle that represents you.
"Ganesha, I ask for change,
That is my right, open the way,
Clear my sight."
Light the green candle.
"Good luck is mine and prosperity,
Help me Great Ganesha,
Come to me."
Light the brown candle.
"Opportunity, work, rewards I see,
And as I will so
Mote it Be."
Each night, for a week, or until the candles are gone, light a second brown candle for 9 minutes while meditating and gaining balance in preparation for the job and the good to come. During this time period, actively seek a job. Listen to your intuition and follow up on all leads.

Sometimes we all need a little help making ends meet. This should not be used each month, or as a substitute for hard work. First, set up your altar in a place where it won't be disturbed for nine days. Select a large green candle. Place the bill you need paid under the candle. If you cannot place the bill itself under the candle, write down the amount you owe, the date it is due and who you owe it too on a piece of paper.
At sunrise, light the candle and visualize this bill being paid in full. Focus on that image for at least 10 minutes. When the sun is rising, say:
"Hail and welcome the coming day
When all my debts are swept away.
As today's new day's dawning
Let my will be done this morning.
Release me from financial bind
And ease the worry from my mind.
Help me now to pay this debt
A kindness that I'll not forget.
Grant my plea and hear my call
Be it only for the good of all."
Let the candle burn 5 minutes then snuff it out. Leave the candle on top of the bill or paper. Each morning at sunrise, re-light the candle and repeat the spell. By the end of the ninth day, you should find you have the money you need, or the means to get the bill paid.
To seal the spell, you should give something back, as a thank you for what you have gained. Donate some clothes to a shelter or time to a children's group or donate blood; something to say thanks for the helping hand. If you don't, the spell will likely reverse down the road and you may find yourself in worse trouble than you are now.

Take your athame or a pin and scratch the name of the position you wish to obtain on a yellow candle. On the other side scribe your own name. Light the candle saying:
"Forces of light and purity,
Lend unto me the capacity to inspire,
To command, to create and to understand.
Ground me in success, cloak me in victory,
By the names of Ganesha's power
By my will so mote it be!"
Sitting in front of the candle, close your eyes and visualize yourself in your own office, being addressed by your co-workers under the title of the position you aspire to. Allow the candle to burn out.

For this spell, you need to either make or buy a small drawstring bag. I use a small purple velvet bag with beads in it. Fill the bag with: 2 lode stones, a dried sea horse, a horseshoe, a clover. Burn Strawberry incense and light two green candles. Chant:
"Luck shall come to me by
The powers of three,
By my will so mote it be!"
The bag is sealed and
This charm is made."

"Beloved Ganesha,
Money, money,
Come to me
In my pockets
You should be
I have waited
For so long
Come to where
You all belong."
Chant five times after lighting a green candle.

For this ritual, you need a statue of Ganesha, a green candle, black candle, a candle that represents you, and incense. Arrange the altar so that the petitioner candle is in front of the Ganesha statue and the candles are around it. Light the incense. Light the black candle and say:
"I empower this candle
To absorb all negative forces acting upon me.
As this candle burns,
Let it's powers engulf all obstacles
In my way, leaving my path clear for success."
Light the green candle.
"I empower this candle to bring me
Good luck, prosperity and success
In acquiring a new and better job.
As this candle burns,
So might it be a beacon for
Good fortune and prosperity."
See yourself in your new job as you light the candle that represents you, saying:
"As this candle represents {name},
Let it be a beacon for positive forces and energies.
As this candle burns bright,
So does the light of {names}'s heart
Burn bright with ambition and desire
For a new, better job."
Concentrate, directing your power to the petitioner candle, which is receiving the energy from the green candle that is burning. After ten minutes or so of concentration, extinguish the candles in the reverse order in which you lit them. Each day, repeat the spell, moving the green candle two inches closer to the petitioner. Your spell is complete when the two candles touch.

You need a candle of any color to represent yourself, an orange candle, a silver or gray candle, a black candle, and a magenta candle. Anoint the candles with a purification or blessing oil. Anoint the black candle from the end to the wick to remove bad luck. The others from the wick to the end to bring you what you desire.

Light the candle representing yourself and say:
"This is me (name or magickal name),
Everything that I am."
Light the black candle and say:
"This is my bad luck.
Leave me now, you're not welcome here anymore.
I shed no tears over the parting."
Light the gray candle and say:
"This one neutralizes any remnants of bad luck.
They dissolve into nothingness now."
Light the orange one and say:
"This one represents the changes for good
Which are coming into my life.
I welcome them with open arms."
Light the magenta candle and say:
"This is the astral energy
That I need to speed up the change.
I welcome change.
I welcome the incoming good into my life."
Thank Ganesha for his blessings. Allow the candles to burn out completely.

A good size bottle with cork or lid will do. An empty mayonnaise jar, or perhaps a decorative bottle, any shape will do. Make certain the mouth of the bottle is wide enough to accomodate the width of a quarter coin. You will need 5 pennies, 5 dimes, 5 quarters, 5 cinnamon sticks, 5 cloves, 5 teaspoons of wheat flour, 5 sesame seeds or pecans and 5 drops cinnamon oil.
Place each item in the jar. Close the lid tightly and shake the bottle while you chant:
"Oil and silver
Seeds and grain
Increase now my money gain."
Place the bottle near your wallet or purse, or close to your checkbook.

Cast the circle and say:
"On this night and in this hour,
I call upon the Ancient Power.
To help me now in my need
To help me in my deed."

"I have a need that must be met.
I ask thee Ganesha that I obtain
The perfect here insert a description
Of the job you seek.
I ask the Universe to lend the power
Of all the astrological correspondence,
So they may enter this circle now,
To obtain my desire.
Thus, I draw to me the perfect name
Type of job you desire without affecting
The free will of anyone and with harm to none."
Visualize yourself doing this job, see yourself working at this job and going there every day performing your duties.
"I now proclaim the spell is done.
The job is mine!
In no way will this spell reverse
Or bring upon me any curse.
As I will it so mote it be!"

Fill a jar with a combination of any of these: frankincense, dandelion, clover, chamomile, honey suckle, nutmeg, mistletoe, rose hips, rosemary, thyme. Seal the jar tightly and put it in a windowsill. Place your hands on the jar and say:
"To Ganesha I do pray,
Guide me through another day.
Let good fortune come my way,
Good luck hither now I say."
Gently shake the jar and kiss it.

"Ganesha, Lord of opportunity,
Bring good things in life to me.
I'll be alert to all you send,
Ganesha, be my helpful friend."

Visualize your future job. Light a green candle.
"Success will come unto me,
Success will come so mote it be!"
Extinguish the candle and visualize it's energy leaving in search of new opportunities. On interview day, relight the candle, say the spell again, and picture a glowing light surrounding you and making you more confident.
