Austin had another scout outing this weekend to White Tanks Mountain Park. It's just 10 miles west of the base and we had a GREAT time. The Park Ranger took us on a tour to see the Petroglyphs that are on the rocks and were made by the Hohokam Indians over 900 years ago!! After seeing these a group of us decided to continue on the hike to the Waterfall. We haven't had any rain recently so their wasn't a "waterfall" to see. The kids had a great time climbing up to it though. Here are some pictures:
