April 1 Sunday – Mt
Tam
Meet at Mt Home Inn. Take the Stinson Beach/Hwy 1 exit from
101 in Mill Valley. After 1 mile, turn left at stoplight (staying on Hwy
1).After 2.5 miles, turn right onto Panoramic Hwy and go 3 miles to the parking
lot. Meet 10:30am, hike begins 10:45. Moderately strenuous 8 mile hike. Lots of
uphill! Approximate time to return: 3:30pm. It will take about 25 minutes to get
to the meeting spot from the GG Bridge. For info contact Jennifer at

Meet 8:30am at the Tennessee Valley parking lot. We'll hike
to Green Gulch for a Dharma talk in the Zendo followed by tea and a walk to Muir
Beach and return via the coast with lunch along the way. Easy to moderate 8
miles. Take the Stinson Beach/Hwy 1 exit from 101 in Mill Valley. Go one half
mile and turn left on Tennessee Valley Road and go 2 miles to the parking lot.

April 22 Sunday - Stinson Beach
Dipsea Trail to Matt Davis. Meet at Stinson Beach Parking lot (in front of the picnic area) at 10:30. Hike begins 10:45. Moderate 8-10 mile hike. For info contact Colleen at colleen_oshea@yahoo.com
May 6 Sunday - Limantour Beach with Mount Whitenberg
Hike along the beach and up into the hills on this moderate 10 mile hike. This is perhaps the most beautiful hike in Point Reyes, combining the beach with lush forests and open hills. Meet at 11:00 at the Limantour Beach parking lot. Hike will begin at 11:15. The drive from San Francisco takes about 1 hour. Please contact me if you can offer a ride to a carpooler. Meet at the Tennessee Valley parking lot at 10:15am, hike begins 10:30. A moderately strenuous hike up and over Wolf Ridge to Rodeo Beach. Take the Stinson Beach/Hwy 1 exit from 101 in Mill Valley. June 3 Sunday - Mt Tam

June 10 Sunday - Muir Beach
Meet in front of the Pelican Inn at 10:30. Hike begins 10:45. Directions: 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. From Highway 101 take the Stinson Beach- Hwy 1 exit. The Pelican Inn is located on Hwy 1 at the Muir Beach turn-off. Park in Muir Beach Parking lot. Moderate hike – 8 miles along the Coastal Trail. For info contact Colleen at colleen_oshea@yahoo.com
June 17 Sunday - Mt. Tam-Kent Trail
**** PLEASE NOTE MODIFIED DIRECTIONS **** A moderate 6 to 7 mile hike along Alpine Lake with views and redwoods. Meet at the parking area below Bon Tempe dam at 10:30; hike begins 10:45. From Hwy 101, take Sir Frances Drake Blvd west through San Anselmo to Fairfax. Turn left on Pacheco (which is not marked; gas station on corner), then right on Broadway. Just past the Fairfax theater, turn left on Bolinas Road. Follow the road uphill for 1.5 miles, then turn left on Sky Oaks Road and go up to the toll booth (pay fee). About 1/3 mile past the toll booth turn right on the dirt road and go approximately .5 miles. There is limited parking below the dam with more parking by Alpine Lake. June 24 Sunday - Pantoll to Stinson Beach and back
Hike the across the open meadows of Mount Tam down to Stinson Beach. We will climb back up the mountain on the Steep Ravine trail. Meet at 11:00 at the Pantoll parking lot ($5 fee). Hike will begin at 11:15. The drive from San Francisco takes about 1 hour. Please contact me if you can offer a ride to a carpooler. July 15 Sunday - Redwood Park
Berkeley/Oakland hills hike. From Bay Bridge follow 580 to Oakland, take the 35th Ave exit, turn left and head east towards hills (becomes Redwood Road). Cross Skyline Blvd and go 2 miles to the MacDonald Staging Area parking lot on the right. Meet 10:30am, hike begins 10:45. It will take about 20 minutes to get to the meeting spot once you cross the Bay Bridge. Moderate strenuous 7 mile hike. Some flat fire roads and trails mixed with steep uphills. Approximate time to return: 3pm. In Berkeley, go east on Ashby, take 13 South, Redwood Road exit and follow directions as above. For info contact Jennifer at ptshikes@yahoo.com
July 22 Sunday - Mt Tam-Cataract Falls
A 6 to 8 mile hike with waterfalls, views and wildflowers. Meet at the Rock Springs parking lot at 10:30; hike begins 10:45. Take the Stinson Beach/Hwy 1 exit from 101. After 1 mile, turn left at stoplight (staying on Hwy 1). After 2.5 miles, turn right onto Panoramic Hwy. At the Pantoll

August 5 Sunday - Tomales Point
Hike to the northern most tip of the Point Reyes peninsula to where Tomales Bay meets the ocean. This is a mild 10 miler with spectacular views and wildlife sightings. Meet at 11:00 at the Pierce Point Ranch parking lot. Hike will begin at 11:15. The drive from San Francisco takes about 1 1/2 hours. Please contact me if you can offer a ride to a carpooler. August 12 Sunday - Mt
Tam

Follow directions to Ross via Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Take a left onto Lagunitas Rd and follow all the way until it ends into Phoenix Lake Parking lot. This lot fills up early, so we're hiking early.
