Eduard Dolezal Award
I am the winner of the Eduard Dolezal Award of year 2000. It is awarded in
course of the ISPRS (International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote
Sensing) Congresses every four year since 1996. The Eduard Dolezal Award is
provided by the Austrian Society for Surveying and Geoinformation (VG) to
representatives of institutions from developing or reform countries who have
presented documentary evidence which demonstrates that they have permanently
implemented a practical application of photogrammetry, remote sensing or
geographic information systems (GIS) in an efficient manner or which documents
their outstanding success in a field that supports photogrammetry, remote
sensing or geographic information systems. The winners of Eduard Dolezal Award
for year 2000 were U. R. Rao of
