| The red soil of the outback is a typical backdrop for a kangaroo. They are not often seen during the day - unless you are talking about road-kill! They are semi-nocturnal and come out to feed at sunset and you are advised not to travel at these times, or at night, because of the likelihood of colliding with one because they become dazzled by the car headlights. |
