Two hearts that beat together
will never be far apart..
I kept my passion hidden,
Deep within my heart.
Ever afraid to show you,
Not knowing where to start.
Yet, Love still did grow.
Love can never hide long.
We sometimes have no choice
to whom we do belong.
My heart was breaking inside
To not be able to show
The love that I had to hide
For fear that you would go.
Only into your arms
would I go.
Sweet, gentle, and warm
And our passion did overflow.
But then you gave me just a hint
Let me know it might be okay
If my kisses were now sent
To your lips on this special day.
And so it came that day to be...
Two friends became so much more...
To the world through poetry...
