Out of funding, Dr. Grant (My Man Sam) reluctantly agrees to be a 'tour guide' for an adventurous couple (William H. Macy and Tea Leoni). Along with his protege Billy Brennan(Alessandro Novola), he joins the pair and a trio of shady looking characters on an aerial tour of Site B, Isla Sorna.

Unknown to Alan and Billy, the Kirby's have a private agenda...to land on the forbidden island and find their son Eric, who disappeared there over eight weeks before. In addition to Dr. Grant, the Kirby's have also hired three mercenaries, Udesky, Nash and Cooper.

Naturally, they underestimate what they can handle, and in their crazed attempt to leave, Cooper and Nash get eaten and the plane crashes, leaving them stranded.

"We haven't landed yet..."

With smarter, more colorful raptors, a guest shot by Laura Dern, and an always great Micheal Jeter as Udesky (at least for as long as he actually survives), the group meets up with Eric Kirby, face a 'super-predator' in the form of a Spinosaurus Egypticus, communicate with said raptors, watch a T-rex get it's butt kicked, dive into piles of dino-poop, save a marriage, call in the Marines, and accidently release the dinosaurs from the island, making way for JP4.
