This is the Wabash passenger schedule for April 28, 1953.

The Wabash ran passenger service from Chicago to St. Louis with the "Banner Blue", "Blue Bird", and "The Midnight".

The "Banner Blue" had an Observation Parlor car, Parlor-lounge car, Dining-Lounge car, and coaches.

The "Blue Bird" had a Dome Observation Parlor Car, the "Blue Bird Room" a Dome Parlor Lounge car, Dome chair cars, "Coffee Shop Club" for coaches.

"The Midnight" had about five sleepers and several chair cars.

The Wabash ran service from St. Louis to Kansas City with the "City of Kansas City", the "City of St. Louis", and the "Midnight Limited".

The "City of Kansas City" had an Observation Parlor Car, a Dome Chair car, Dining car, and "Coffee Shop Club" for coach passengers.

The "City of St. Louis" had chair cars, sleepers, Club-Lounge Car, with a dining car.

The "Midnight Limited" had several sleepers, and chair cars.

The Wabash ran service from St. Louis to Detroit and Toledo with the "Wabash Cannon Ball", and the "Detroit Limited"(northbound) and St. Louis Limited"(southbound).

The "Wabash Cannon Ball" had an observation Parlor Car, Dining-Lounge Car, and Chair cars.

The "Detroit Limited" had sleepers, Dining-Lounge Car, and chair cars to Detroit and to Toledo.

The Wabash ran service from St. Louis to Omaha and Des Moines with the "Des Moines Limited" and the "St. Louis Limited".

The "Des Moines Limited" ran with a sleeper and coach.

The "St. Louis Limited" ran with a standard sleeper and coach.

Several other trains were run as mixed trains on the system.
