Train #3, operated from Salisbury to Asheville tri weekly with a coach and a dome coach. The train operated on Sudnay, Tuesday, and Friday. This is the remains of the "Asheville Special" that operated for many years from New York.
Train #7, operated from New York to Lynchburg with coaches only from Washington to Lynchburg.
Train #5, "The Piedmont" ran from Washington to Atlanta with a grill-coach.
